I started avoiding gluten before it was a household word. I was never diagnosed with celiac, but I just knew I felt better without it. I found this out by accident when I started low carbing and just avoided gluten by default! All my arthritic symptoms, all my stomach problems and low mood just dissipated within three months. When I went off the diet and started eating wheat again, they all returned. When the first edition of Wheat Belly came out, I remember thinking to myself “ finally, someone really gets it.” I am so thrilled to have the revised version. Folk’s today’s wheat is not the wheat of our ancestors. I honestly now liken it to poison, and for a lot of us, it just is. This book is a gem.

Amazon Prime Customer: Incredible Book!
This is an incredible book and makes you never want to eat bread again! I listened to the Audiobook of the original version of this in 2014 and it was eye-opening, and this book underscores those findings. Next time you’re at the grocery store skip the bread aisle, and when you order your next hamburger order it without the bread! This book is a must-read for anybody who wants to kick the bread habit!
